Frequently Asked Questions

How long are your visits?

Clocks are important in life, but not for your pet sit or dog walk. This is why we do not charge by time, but by visit. We pride ourselves on watching your pet, not the clock. Once your pet has done their business and is all set, we know it’s time to go. With all that being said, visits are typically around 30 minutes, give or take. If it is a horrible, rainy day and your pet is not enjoying their time outside, we may cut it a little short and finish the visit inside. On the flip side, if it is a sunny, warm day and your pet is having the best time, we may have to extend the walk time a bit until they are done.

What time will you come for my walk or pet sit?

You have the ability to choose the time frames that work best for you and your pet. While we try to accommodate exact time, pet sitting schedules vary from day to day so we offer time frames. If you need an early one, book a morning visit. If you need a late mid-day, you can book that as well. Need to be more specific with your times? You can leave a note with your ideal time when booking and we will do our very best to accommodate.

How can I pay?

You can save your credit card information in our secured pet sitting software when signing up. We do not charge for last-minute bookings, cancellations or add-ons, and we charge your card at the end of your services to ensure correct invoicing. You also have the option to leave cash at the beginning of your pet sitting or walks, and in that case, we know not to charge your credit card at the end of your visits.

Pick up times are between 8 and 10 am. Drop off times are between 4 and 6 pm. We pick up all the dogs for this service so we can not guarantee an exact time within these frames. It really just depends on the order of the day.

Unless your pooch is doing an overnight, at this time, we do not provide daycare on the weekends.

How do your overnights work?

Daycare is always included on the night of your dog’s sleepover so they can enjoy a full day of play before turning in for the evening. Our overnights work like a hotel stay. Check-in is in the morning between 8 and 10 am and check-out is the next day between 8 and 10 am. Need a late drop off on the last day? Just book a daycare and we will know to drop off between 4 and 6 pm.

I have an electric lock; do you still need a key?

Yes. Our number one priority is getting in to care for your pets, so having a physical key is necessary and one of our policies. We have been in business for many years and have seen electric locks fail for numerous reasons, including bad batteries, power outages, and malfunctions. Don’t have a physical key to your home? Give us a call to discuss options.

My puppy isn't fully vaccinated… can they still go for walks and daycare?

This is a great question and one that has an answer that changes over time. We are not vets, but we have our own opinion about this. We feel that safety is our top priority whenever your pet is in our care. Because of this, we never do dog parks or say hi to dogs on the street that we do not know. Taking out risk factors such as encounters with unvaccinated dogs or questionable, high-volume areas provides a relatively safe environment for your dog to learn how to potty outside, socialize, and just be a dog! If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to give us a call to discuss more.
