Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 of your favorite dog treats
Instructions:
- Chill a mixing bowl and the beaters of a hand mixer or the whisk attachment of a stand mixer in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- Pour the heavy cream into the chilled mixing bowl.
- Using the hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the cream until it thickens.
- Continue beating until stiff peaks form. The cream should hold its shape when you lift the beaters.
- Place the whipped cream in a piping bag or other squeeze bottle.
- Squeeze the whipped cream out onto a plate or small bowl.
- Then get your favorite dog treats.
- If your treats are “hard baked” place them in a ziplock bag and crush into crumbs using your hands, mallet or other utensil. If your treats are “soft baked” however use your hands to break them into crumbs over a small bowl to collect the crumbs.
- Sprinkle on the treats and serve (alternatively place in the refrigerator until used).
Remember, Puppuccinos should be given in moderation and should not replace a balanced diet for your dog. It’s important to consider your dog’s individual dietary needs and consult with a veterinarian if you have any concerns.
